Holy Ground Battlefield Park
~ This is one of the sites where the U.S. Army under the direction of Gen. Andrew Jackson fought the Creek Indians in 1813-14.Holy Ground Battlefield Park is a day use area and offers a swimming beach, boat launching ramp, playground, restrooms, shelters, a multi-purpose court, a nature trail and an observation deck overlooking the scenic Alabama River. Holy Ground Battlefield Park is located on Highway 40 east of Prairie Creek Campground.
To get to Prairie Creek Park from Montgomery, follow Highway 80 west, about 25 miles, turn right on County Road 29 and follow the signs. From Selma, follow Highway 80 east, 25 miles, turn left on County Road 40 and follow the signs. River Road Scenic Drive
~ This scenic drive offers a view of Lake Seminole and the rural north Florida Landscape and runs along State Road (SR) 271 called "River Road". Get there from the north via Alabama highway 84 , or from Georgia Highway 91 after crossing the Chattahoochee River onto Florida SR 2, go south on County Road (CR) 164 til a left fork becomes SR 271 (River Road). From the south off I-10 exit 23 take SR 286 to Sneads left on US 90 then right on SR 271 (caution light.)

Three Rivers State Recreational Area
~ High rolling hills and ravines with diversified forest with two miles of shoreline on Lake Seminole which borders Alabama and Georgia. The entrance is about 2 miles north of Sneads off River Road, (7908 Three Rivers Park Rd.) Contact Russell Williams at (850) 482-9007

Faceville Landing
~ Seven primitive sites, no electric and water hook ups. Camping is free. Boat ramp with courtesy dock, and picnic shelter, one pit toilet.
Recreational Opportunities: picnic tables, boat ramp, fishing.
Directions: From Bainbridge, GA take Highway 97 South approximately 10 miles, turn right at Faceville Landing Rd and follow the signs to the park.

Hales Landing
~ 14 sites, 1 handicapped site, no electric and water hooks ups, at $5.00 per night. Check out time is 3:00 PM. Golden Age and Golden Access Passports accepted. 1 bathhouse with showers, drinking water, pay phone, boat ramp with courtesy dock and picnic shelter, attendant on duty. Open all year. Recreational Opportunities: Picnic table, boat ramp, fishing, and Historic Bainbridge 12 miles North.
Directions. U.S. Highway 84, take State Route 253 southwest for 3.8 miles, take Ten Mile Still Road for 2 miles, follow signs.

Directions: Interstate 10 to Exit 167, north to Sneads, FL, east on Highway 90, then north on State Route 271, at dead end take highway 164 north to highway 2, turn right. See Neal's Landing sign.
